Know that developer that sits there and refactors and cleans up the code so that it adheres to the object-oriented software design principles? Well, I am one of those developers. However, not only do I clean and refactor code, I also enjoy prototyping and learning new technologies. Currently, I work for a software development shop that follows the Agile development methodologies and is a Gold Partner with Microsoft. We write code in iterative steps, and utilize the Microsoft.NET framework to develop one of many client/server applications. While I have been working with my previous employer (who merged with my current employer), there were many things that I have learned about object-oriented programming that I did not think I could learn so quickly. Finally, I worked for a small start-up company writing custom software solutions, maintaining an enterprise Linux server, and developing web sites and web applications. In that job, I have learned a wide range of technologies from the LAMP environment, the .NET framework, content development from custom made web site templates, and Macromedia Flash 8 and Adobe Flex. What can I say? I love technology!
