As a consultant I am always looking for challenging complex projects that force me to think out of the box. My speciality is situated in the field of building secure, reliabel network- and server-infrastructure. I tend to use a lot of Linux and Open Source to built these solutions. Another new interesting field we are working on today is virtualisation. We have a number of infrastructure projects running on VMWARE and Xen hypervisors. Important in building a decent infrastructure are also the central storage and DRP-systems behind this all. Here we have built extensive experience with Netapp and SUN SAN infrastructures. Next to this I research new technologies and potential security problems in our testlab. In the past we have created "proof-of-concepts" for security-problems in bankingsoftware, wireless networks and Domino-webservers. The result of our work is published in publications such as Smart Business, Network and Telecom and Datanews.
